It’s never been easier for make-up fans across New Zealand and Australia to customise their own eyeshadow palettes.
Makeup company Beauty School Dropout (BSD) now stocks internationally renowned Z Palettes, available on their website. (beautyschooldropout.co.nz)
Beauty School Dropout has also formulated and launched a range of pan eyeshadows. Twenty-nine colours have been designed to insert into the Z Palettes. Each one is lovingly crafted in Australia and is cruelty-free. The makeup is affordable at just $8.50 NZD per eyeshadow.
Beauty School Dropout founder Emma Bodley created the offerings to compete with less affordable brands. “I believe that I have a great product that is long wearing,” Emma says. She found that the shipping costs from the Northern Hemisphere to the South when buying competitor’s brands were prohibitive.
Designed for anyone who loves to play with make-up, each colour has a playful name. From the shimmering aqua blue of ‘Drunken Mermaid’ to the matte dark brown of ‘Coffee Date’ each hue reflects a personal memory of Emma's. Not only are the colours fun but they are also wearable for the everyday makeup lover.
Self-confessed ‘girly-girl’, Emma was always destined for the beauty industry. “Since as long as I can remember I have loved everything girly. Now, I have an excuse to play with makeup every day, and who doesn’t want to do that!” she says.
Beauty School Dropout offers the Z Palettes in two sizes and a range of colours totalling seven different options. “Z Palette empowers beauty lovers to transform bulky makeup bags and messy bathroom counter tops into customized, organized and simplified works of art.” (zpalette.com)
